Bailey Chase Talks Secret Batman Vs. Superman Role
The Television Critics Association press tour was held yesterday which included mention of Netflix picking up a series from A& E with Longmire, which stars Bailey Chase.
“I’m not a superhero but I’ve got a nice, cool role that opens the movie,” Chase said.
Chase obviously couldn't mention much specifically, but the actor did state he is on screen with Lois Lane.
“I get to do quite a bit with Amy Adams and I can’t wait to see it," Bailey offered. "It was just such a thrill to work with Zack Snyder and something on that scale, I’ve never done that before. It’s a completely different medium from doing cable TV so they have a lot of time and a lot of money.”
Chase did happen to drop a couple of hints, with mention of horseback (which was featured in the recent Comic-Con trailer) and SEAL training.
“I had about three weeks of rehearsal,” Chase said. “I’m pretty good on a horse but I had more horseback training. I got some more gun training, got to work with a retired SEAL. It’s going to look awesome.
“I’m saying it might’ve been required for me, yes,” Chase said. “I see some horses and some pretty cool guns.”
As noted in the article, with Chase stating he opens the movie, it's possible Batman Vs. Superman could kick off in Metropolis with Lois Lane, or perhaps Lois and Clark are out researching a story horseback riding? Another possibility could be that Chase is involved with the desert Batman scene?
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
