Another batch of rumors regarding the plans of Disney and Marvel Studios has hit the net.
This time it's being said that a sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy is in doubt, and that Guardians is essentially a standalone movie.
The previous rumor had Guardians of the Galaxy 2 going head-to-head on May 6, 2016 against Batman Vs. Superman.
Now SchmoesKnow.com says that is not the case.
Of course it's noted if Guardians of the Galaxy does well at the box office, then a sequel would be likely. But regarding any talk within Marvel Studios about Guardians of the Galaxy 2, according to their sources that seems unlikely at the moment.
The report also has information on the Marvel Studios Phase 3 plans, which isn't all that surprising.
It's said Ant-Man, Captain America 3, Thor 3, Doctor Strange and The Avengers 3 are all a part of the Phase 3 plans.
Mention is also made of Black Panther and Inhumans movies, but it's said they are more or less just in development and don't have any concrete plans right away.
It's further said to expect announcements regarding Marvel Studios Phase 3 Plans at Comic-Con or possibly before.
We see no mention is made of Iron Man 4 as well.
