Following last night's panel where Joss Whedon revealed the second Assemblers film to be titled The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, the director spoke about the movie with Marvel.
Whedon starts off by mentioning that The Avengers 2 will be different than the comic book counterpart, not featuring the same origin and Hank Pym.
Whedon explains the exclusive Comic-Con reveal in that it shows Iron Man's mask seemingly getting transformed into the classic Ultron helmet, perhaps giving us a clue as to The Avengers sequel villain's origins.
Then in an audience QnA, Whedon makes it be known that The Avengers 2 will be darker than the first; that even before he signed on for the first film he wanted the second to feature Ultron.
Joss Whedon then answers a fan question about the movie having more of a global appeal and not being centered in one city.
He also says he is enjoying writing Hawkeye as in the first movie he was more of a brainwashed character (and something Jeremy Renner complained about).
