Earlier today a rumor surfaced which seems to corroborate our earlier information we first posted back in December that Batman Vs. Superman will feature the Justice League with some sort of explosive ending.
Now a blogger for Forbes, Matt Hughes, has taken to his Twitter to state he's heard similar.
Things that are true: BvsS will have some additional superheroes in it; JL is the next film; a couple of actors are in final negotiations.— Mark Hughes (@markhughesfilms) January 13, 2014
I received the Justice League in Batman Vs. Superman information from my Bryan Cranston cast as Lex Luthor source.
Regarding Cranston and Lex Luthor, last my source was told Cranston had changed his mind in favor of doing Broadway plays and getting away from villain roles.
In our last discussion, we spoke whether or not that was just smoke and mirrors put out by WB to cover the leak.
I was also told anything regarding Lex Luthor being mentioned within Warner Bros. was "hush hush."
I'm not sure what that could signify: whether or not the role has been cast and the higher-ups don't want it leaked; if Cranston is really cast as Luthor, or even if they wrote Lex out of the script in favor of, say, Vandal Savage.
With Batman Vs. Superman said to begin filming a scene next month, it's speculated announcements will be coming soon.
I'm guessing as Breaking Bad and Bryan Cranston just won Golden Globe awards, similar to what Marvel did with Michael Douglas and Ant-Man, WB might want to capitalize on the publicity and announce Cranston soon. Update: It's possible they may be waiting until after Cranston is done promoting Godzilla.
If not, wait for the Lex Luthor announcement before the actor appears on set.
The question on everyone's mind seems to be: Will we say Bryan Cranston's name come July 2015?
"Batman Vs. Superman" has a July 17, 2015 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot.
