[[wysiwyg_imageupload:9068:]]A possible rumor/spoiler for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 in regards to the identity of the Green Goblin has hit the net.
It's being reported that the Green Goblin in Amazing Spider-Man 2 will not be Chris Cooper, who plays Norman Osborn, but will be Dane DeHaan, playing Harry.
MovieWeb has some insider info where it's stated that their source on set confirms Dane DeHaan will suit up as the Green Goblin in the Amazing Spider-Man 2's climax taking place at Oscorp Power Plant.
The new look of the Green Goblin is described something more akin to the Marvel Ultimate Comics version.
It's said the new Green Goblin will sort of resemble what Christopher Nolan did with Catwoman by incorporating tech into the look of the character, as well as resembling somewhat the look of Iron Man.
Green Goblin's suit will be made up entirely of matte black armor that resembles a hi-tech motocross suit. The suit will remain open-faced, and there will be no helmet at all. [Green Goblin] will have green hair that is spiked high up. In his ears, he will be wearing a Bluetooth device that will make it look as though he has the Green Goblin's signature pointed ears, the same way Selina Kyle's goggles worked in creating the illusion that she had cat ears. The back of the armor has a spine. At the moment, there are no green accents. From a distance, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Tony Stark's signature Mark XLII armor had been painted black.
Further rumors about Amazing Spider-Man 2 also state that Oscorp Power Plant will be the source of Electro's power as well as the place he calls "home."
It's even rumored that the Vulture may appear, and that Marc Webb may be filming Amazing Spider-Man 3 directly after.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Colm Feore, and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn.
