We get an update on the earlier story about Marc Webb filming Amazing Spider-Man 2 in Rochester, NY in that it will be for two weeks beginning in May.

It was previously reported that a big car chase scene would be filmed in Rochester, NY as NYC seems to have some kind of limits that would curtail shooting the scene for the Amazing Spider-Man movie.

Rochester's Channel 13, an ABC affiliate, reports that Marc Webb will film Amazing Spider-Man in the first two weeks of May and includes locations.

Filming will take place on Main St. in Rochester which would also include the County Office Building.

Marvel Studios will be bringing a couple hundred of their crew into town giving a boost to the local economy with 3000 hotel room nights needed.

Rochester, NY is only about 45 minutes from the CBN offices, so we might just pay a visit during filming.

Here's the location in Rochester. It looks like they picked a good one as there are wide streets and some tall cool looking buildings for Spidey to swing from.

Should be fun.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giammatti, Felicity Jones and Colm Feore.
