We get a pair of new images with production on X-Men: Days Of Future Past wrapping up.
The first is a production image featuring Bryan Singer and Hugh Jackman.
The second is a 1970s pic of Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy and Jackman as Wolverine.
An official synopsis has yet to be released, but following the images you can check out some potential info.
X-Men: Days of Future Past has a May 23, 2014 release date starring Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page,ShawnAshmore, Hugh Jackman reprising as Wolverine, returning cast members Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan, with Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask.
Slight spoilers perhaps, as the X-Men: Days of Future Past footage that has been released revealed Wolverine traveling back through time. Seems Professor X and Magneto team up (as seen in The Wolverine post-credit scene) to send Wolverine back in time to most likely change whatever event has them worried in the future. I believe it's Kitty Pryde that sends Logan back.
The future part of the movie takes place about ten years from The Last Stand, I believe, with the past storyline ten or so years after X-Men: First Class.
We know that Bolivar Trask, played by Peter Dinklage, creates the Sentinel program in 1973, with more advanced versions seen in 2020.
For those a fan of the comics, Singer also said this isn't exactly following that.
The movie features a plethora of new mutants including fan-favorite Bishop, played by Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart as Warpath, and Fan Bingbing as Blink.
Josh Helman will also play a younger William Styker (Brian Cox played the character in X2).
It's also recently come out that Singer has brought on board X-Men writer Chris Claremont as a consultant.
