Check out the poster and trailer for J.J. Abrams secret project, 10 Cloverfield Lane.
Abrams kept it under wraps until the trailer was revealed in front of Michael Bay's 13 Hours in movie theaters.
As the name suggests, it does seem to be related to the 2008 monster movie, but it's been said 10 Cloverfield Lane is more of a cousin.
"The idea came up a long time ago during production," Abrams told Collider (via Slash Film). "We wanted to make it a blood relative of Cloverfield. The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible.”
10 Cloverfield Lane is being directed by Dan Trachtenberg with the script by Josh Campbell, Matt Steucken and Damien Chazelle.
According to the films IMDb listing, the movie stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr.
The description at IMDb also reads: Waking up from a car accident, a young woman finds herself in the basement of a man who says he's saved her life from a chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable.
And we do see the poster states: "Monsters come in many forms."
