Deadline reports that Steven Spielberg is now figuring out his next two directorial gigs with it said Spielberg is eyeing Indiana Jones either followed or preceded by his dream project, a new version of West Side Story.
Back in 2015 saw it stated that Chris Pratt was going to be starring in a new Indiana Jones franchise alongside Harrison Ford.
The report makes mention that it is unclear if those plans are set in stone, but interestingly enough, Chris Pratt had some fun recently on Twitter with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and Karen Gillan with mention of snakes, which fans of the Indiana Jones movies know the character to be afraid of.
@jamesgunn I noticed you haven’t answered me. Let me be more specific. Can the villain in volume 3 be a guy who has a cardboard box full of snakes, yes or no? If no. Then how bout just a handful of snakes and he says, what up wit snakes? And then throws the snakes at us?— chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) January 14, 2018
Chris Pratt has Cowboy Ninja Viking and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 coming up, so maybe he is able to fit Indiana Jones into his schedule as well?
Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One opens March 30, 2018. Watch the trailer below.
