With the new Superman movie, Man of Steel 2, currently in development, check out a cool fan trailer to get you even more excited for more of Henry Cavill.

Recent news regarding Man of Steel 2 includes Amy Adams stating she knows they are working on the script.

"I read about Man of Steel 2 when you guys did," Amy Adams said in a previous interview while promoting her latest movie, Arrival. "A lot of times I find out sort of after the fact [laughs], which is fine. It's completely normal. That's not indicative of anything, but yeah. I know they are working on a script, and I know that it's in the works, apparently. Yeah."

Henry Cavill's manager, who also happens to manage Dwayne Johnson, also confirmed Man of Steel 2.

“Henry has a big appetite,” Dany Garcia said. “We’ve been in a five-month period of time where he’s re-strategizing, acquiring property [for his production company Promethean], he’s filming [Justice League] now, he’s in development for the Superman standalone… he’s beginning to expand that world. It’s beautifully teed up. In a year from now, or two years from now, he’s going to be a force globally.”

Per the norm, the rumor mills are churning out potential Man of Steel 2 plot bits, which includes both Supergirl and Brainiac. The Man of Steel 2 rumor even states the possible titles could be "Superman: Last Son" or "Superman: Last Son of Krypton."

A separate rumor for Man of Steel 2 suggests J.J. Abrams may be in the running to direct. Abrams was actually attached to a Superman movie a while ago with the Superman: Flyby script.

Warner Bros. has yet to officially announce Man of Steel 2 or give the film a release date.

Henry Cavill can next be seen as Superman in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which has a November 17, 2017 release.
