X-Men: Days Of Future Past Features Cataclysmic Opening Says Hugh Jackman; Talks End Of Wolverine (Video)
While promoting his latest film at the Toronto Film Festival, The Prisoner, Hugh Jackman comments on X-Men: Days Of Future Past, filming the last scene and how it relates to The Wolverine.
Jackman offers absolutely nothing about filming the last scene for X-Men: Days of Future Past as he says it's so secretive and a key moment in the movie, and also offers up that the events from The Wolverine greatly affect his character.
You can check out the video below of Hugh talking X-Men: Days of Future Past or read the following text.
"By the way if I tell you, it is giving away literally the key scene. Literally I would be killed. I literally can't say one part of that scene. It was so secret on the day it was unbelievable
"It might be the last. By the way it didn't hit me until three weeks before the end because we promoted The Wolverine, I came back on set with three weeks to go, and thats when I went 'well, who knows maybe there is no more Wolverine, maybe this is it, who knows maybe,' so I really made the most of those last few weeks. I enjoy...every time I but the claws on, I was like 'yeah.'
"Definitely, Even more than X-Men 3 where he was reluctant becoming a member of the team. Now he is owning the warrior in him. Now he is owning that Wolverine nature and everything again is so cataclysmic at the beginning of that movie, it's all hands-on-deck and he's right in the middle of it."
X-Men: Days of Future Past has a May 23, 2014 release date starring Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, with Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask.
