Earlier saw news of Toad cast for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and now Byran Singer offers a few tidbits of information.

Speaking with EW, Singer says he would like to direct X-Men: Apocalypse, of which he is co-writing and producing, and that he is undecided if Apocalypse will be featured in X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Singer did, however, offer a tease in that X-Men: Days Of Future Past will delve into mutant origins. In the comic books, the X-Men villain Apocalypse is known as the world's first mutant.

"[X-Men: Days Of Future Past] will also address historical mutant-cy, meaning the deep past, mutant origins and things like that. It’s something that’s always intrigued me when we think about our Gods and our history and miracles and powers," Singer said.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past has a May 23, 2014 release with X-Men: Apocalypse arriving May 26, 2016.
