X-Men: Days Of Future Past Director's Cut Confirmed

It's confirmed that X-Men: Days Of Future Past will have a Director's Cut when the Blu-Ray is released later this year.

X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed the news when questioned on Twitter.

Previously, it has been mentioned that due to time constraints, Bryan Singer had to cut the movie down, with Rogue (Anna Paquin) and Storm (Halle Berry) mentioned.

It's been said that originally Rogue was the one to send Wolverine back in time after she absorbed the powers of Kitty Pryde.

Another scene is also said to have featured Professor X, Magneto, and Iceman on a mission to rescue Rogue from the Sentinels.

So it sounds as if Singer may have cut a lot of the future scenes, which was probably the biggest complaint amongst fans as they wanted to see more from the original cast set in the future.

The X-Men: Days Of Future Past Blu-Ray release date hasn't been announced, but a really cool Amazon exclusive collector's set is available for pre-order (presently at almost 50% off).
