WB Not Changing Batman Vs. Superman Release Date After Captain America 3 Confirmation

I suppose there is no unwritten rule amongst the movie studios not to schedule movies of a similar genre on the same date, but nonetheless I still think it's kind of a shady move by Warner Bros. to have moved the release date for Batman Vs. Superman to an already scheduled Marvel film, which this week was confirmed as being Captain America 3.

It already costs me about 60+ bucks to see a movie (couple kids, popcorn etc), and now if I really want to see these two movies on the May 6, 2016 opening weekend, it's gonna cost me over a c-note.

Hopefully, one of the studios will change their minds and see the light, but Marvel doesn't seem to be budging, and now the president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros. says the same.

"It doesn’t make a lot of sense for two huge superhero films to open on the same date but there is a lot of time between now and 5/6/16,” Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros. said, reports Bloomberg. “However at this time, we are not considering a change of date for Batman vs. Superman.”

As of right now, it's a difficult choice between which of the two I will be seeing first, as Captain America 2 was just that good. I suppose it depends on what I see from the various casting announcements, plot synopsis and set reports which will inevitably make the choice for me.
