Watch Christian Bale's Batman Audition With Man of Steel's Amy Adams

Body

New video has surfaced online of Christian Bale's Batman audition where we see not only is the actor using Val Kilmer's bat-suit, but Amy Adams is present as well.

The video is a special feature from the The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector's Edition Blu-Ray.

We learn Amy Adams did the producers a favor and participated in the screen test. Prior to Batman Begins, Amy Adams auditioned for Lois Lane at least a couple times, and now we see she helped them out with Christian Bale.

It's interesting to note Henry Cavill also auditioned for Superman and eventually got the gig. Regarding Ben Affleck, he's been eyed by Warner Bros. for a while as well and is the new Batman. Wonder who could be next?

Jake Gyllenhaal was also a favorite of writer's David Goyer's to play Batman, but Nolan went with Bale. We see Nolan make specific mention of Bale using the different voice, which may have landed him the role.

Video featuring Christopher Nolan from the Blu-Ray surfaced as well with the director talking about his realistic take on the Batman movies.
