Watch: 3D Print The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Lightsaber
J.J. Abrams and Disney recently released the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, which brought with it a lot of buzz.
Not only did we see the World Cup version of R2-D2, but a new lightsaber.
Fans have already begun speculating about the new lightsaber: Does it have exhaust ports? Was it created by someone dabbling in the Dark Side unfamiliar with the teachings?
Regardless what the answer is, the new lightsaber will definitely make a cool toy when the movie officially comes out.
Speaking of toys, if you happen to have a 3D printer - you can make your own.
Check out the following video where a group of 3D designers created their own version.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.
