Body

Have you seen this before?

It's a Silver Surfer fan-film that was put together back in 1992 by two students from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

It was shortly completed after Terminator 2, and shows similar CGI footage with the body made of metal. We even see Norrin Radd use the Power Cosmic.

Of course, Silver Surfer debuted on the big screen in 2005 with Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, played by Doug Jones and voiced by Laurence Fishburne.

At one time, a Silver Surfer movie was even being planned in the '80s (see art below) with the producers on the project stating they planned to make the film an epic picture on the scope of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

It was recently rumored that Marvel Studios was after both the Silver Surfer and Galactus in exchange for Fox Studios keeping the rights to Daredevil; however, obviously that didn't happened. At the time, it was speculated Marvel may have wanted Silver Surfer and Galactus for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Perhaps with the new Josh Trank Fantastic Four reboot, the Surfer will fly the spaceways once more.
