Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige and action hero star Vin Diesel seem to be playing a little game of cat and mouse as Diesel says he is going to play Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie while Feige on numerous occasions hasn't confirmed the news as of yet.

The latest saw Vin Diesel on the set of Fast and Furious 7 where the actor was seen practicing using stilts in which he stated he is playing Groot, a "7-and-half foot tall tree."

The Huffinton Post caught up with Kevin Feige, who at least offers this time that a casting announcement is close.

Yeah, I think it's close. I think it's close to being official for the Groot character. But, not 100 percent yet.

Two new names also popped up recently for Edgar Wright's Ant-Man movie with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd. JGL recently denied the rumors, stating they were just that, and while Feige doesn't straight out deny Joseph Gordon Levitt's involvement, he offers it could be possible.

Well, sometimes it's because we are legitimately talking, and sometimes it's just because he's a prominent actor out there now. And lots of rumors surround prominent actors.

Kevin Feige is just as enigmatic when it comes to the Paul Rudd Ant-Man movie rumor.

Well, nothing is true yet. I like Paul Rudd, too.

Guardians of the Galaxy hits August 1, 2014 directed by James Gunn. Ant-Man lands July 31, 2015.
