Vin Diesel Says I am Groot For Guardians of the Galaxy Movie?
Add another Vin Diesel teaser to the list of possible Marvel Studios characters the actor may (or wants) to play with the latest being Groot of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
Diesel previously posted pics on his Facebook of the Vision as well as an issue of The Avengers, and now it's an image of the Monarch of Planet X.
It's unknown if Vin Diesel even has a role in any movie as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said there was no announcement coming.
Diesel most recently hinted that the role was a different kind of love story, which could work between Rocket Raccoon and Groot, of sorts.
Groot only says three words, "I Am Groot," that everyone understands; however, Rocket Raccoon is capable of understanding and translating (so he says) more of the speech. So while everyone hears "I Am Groot," Rocket hears what Groot is really saying, which makes for some humorous moments.
Rocket Raccoon and Groot are the two remaining characters to be cast in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer and Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Benicio Del Toro as The Collector, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Lee Pace as Ronan, Djimon Hounsu as Korath the Pursuer, with John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey and Glen Close as Nova Prime.
Also rumored for the movie are Ophelia Lovibond and Enzo Cilenti.
