TV Review: Green Lantern: The Animated Series -- "Ranx"
Manhunters are blasting away at the abandoned planet Ranx, and the Guardians of the Universe want to know why.
Guy Gardner leads an all-star squadron of Green Lanterns toward the world at the same time our hapless trio -- minus their missing ship Interceptor -- arrives with plans of their own.
Hal, traveling with Kilowog and Razer, has been receiving signals over his ring, signals emanating from the supposedly lifeless world of Ranx.
After some great verbal jousting between Guy and Hank, it is Razer who comes up with an ingenious way to make it to the surface past the Manhunters.
Unfortunately, it is Razer's love for Aya that hers its ugly head and gives the trio away... in the middle of the Manhunters.
Eventually, on the surface, the trio discovers the source of the signals: the lost head of the Anti-Monitor!
What occurs next is unbelievably cosmic and grand, even as Aya shows up to lead the Manhunters.
Another enjoyable and thoroughly satisfying episode of a wonderful program.
