TV Review: Green Lantern: The Animated Series -- "Love is a Battlefield"

Body

Aya,  former AI of the Green Lantern ship Interceptor, continues her battle against Razer's seeming rejection by taking her new Anti-Monitor power and declaring war on love in "Love is a Battlefield."

To be specific, she blasts into unconsciousness the Queen of Zameron and then summons "Love's  Champion," Carol Farris as a Star Sapphire, to pit in Gladiator fashion (very popular in comics these days) against the "Champion of Hate": Atrocitus!

Amid the red end pink ring slinging, Carol summons her true love, Hal Jordan.

Through a heartbreaking death, love is proven victorious. But Aya comes to a different conclusion and, as such, becomes a greater threat than ever to the universe!

Great special effects, wonderful script and beautiful characterization make up this episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

This show will be truly missed.
