Transformers: Age Of Extinction: Galvatron Revealed To Be The Freightliner & An Autobot?
Fans know that Leonard Nimoy was the voice of Galvatron in Transformers: The Movie from 1986 which saw Unicron change Megatron into Galvatron.
Recent promotional images for Transformers: Age of Extinction revealed that - as has been previously rumored - Galvatron would be a part of the lineup.
Now new details from the Hasbro website have more information and images about Galvatron - at least the toy - where it's revealed Galvatron looks to be the Freightliner that we've seen in set video and official images (see below).
We also get an interesting tidbit from the Hasbro site that mentions Galvatron is actually an Autobot; however, we do see the Decepticon symbol present on the toy, so possibly it's in error.
Check it out:
When Optimus Prime dealt a crushing blow to Megatron in the Battle of Chicago, the triumph was short-lived. The victorious Autobots were rewarded with exile and new enemies determined to bring about their total destruction. If there was ever any doubt, the Autobots now know for certain: as long as there is a Decepticon with a spark in his circuits, their centuries-old war will continue.
