Transformers 4 Plot Synopsis Revealed; Filming Take Place In Detroit; Peter Cullen Returns
Three bits of Transformers 4 news to share with the return of Peter Cullen, the location of filming and a plot synopsis.
We've previously heard mention from director Michael Bay that the voice of Optimus Prime will be returning to Transformers 4, and now Peter Cullen confirms with IGN.
"I just know that I’m going to be part of it and I’m very happy about that and I’m looking forward to getting into production," Cullen said.
And regarding the location of filming for Transformers 4, it's confirmed to take place in Detroit, Michigan.
The Michigan Film Office announced the news with filming expected to begin this Spring.
"It speaks volumes about all Michigan has to offer that Transformers is returning once again to our state,” said Margaret O’Riley, director of the Michigan Film Office. “This project will shine another bright spotlight on Michigan and provide tremendous opportunities for our cast, crew and support services."

Update: A rep from Paramount sent us something the plot synopsis not being allowed to be published as well as the logo. Not sure what that's about, so I'll just reword the plot as my own thoughts.
Transformers 4 takes place after the last movie. Both the Autobots and Decepticons have seemingly left the planet. There's a group of elite people that want to benefit from the Transformers' tech so that they can control it. And an older Transformer who is very strong has his sights set on the Earth. The story delves into good vs. evil and the fight for freedom.
