Tom Hiddleston Doesn't Think He Will Be In The Avengers 2; Loki Is An Ally In Thor 2

Tom Hiddleston talks The Avengers 2 and Thor 2 at the Toronto Film Festival while premiering Only Lovers Left Alive, his new indie vampire movie.

Per his character Loki, Tom Hiddleston offers some cryptic responses to questions surrounding the upcoming Marvel Studios movies (via Daily Beast).

First, Tom Hiddleston describes Loki in the three movies he appears in with Thor, The Avengers and Thor 2. You will note Tom Hiddleston says "ally," but doesn't superficially say to who.

What’s interesting is it’s a new dynamic. In Thor, I was the antihero who turned into a villain; in Avengers, I’m the out-and-out bad guy; and in Thor: The Dark World, Malekith, played by Christopher Eccleston, is the villain, so I occupy a unique position because I’m sort of an ally.

Next, Tom is questioned about The Avengers 2, and what's interesting about his response is he doesn't exactly rule it out. Why it is interesting is because Marvel Studios requested director Alan Taylor add more Loki in Thor 2.

I don’t think so. I think James Spader’s got that one sewn up.

Speaking of James Spader, Tom Hiddleston recently said he absolutely loves that the actor is playing Ultron and offered advice about dealing with the Hulk.

Fans are also hoping that Marvel Studios will go forward with a Tom Hiddleston Loki movie.

Check out "Thor: The Dark World" on November 8th also starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins.
