Toldja: "The Batman" Standalone Film Being Planned

A few days ago a rumored list of the DC comic book movies hit the net, which listed films from 2016 through 2018.

Now we can possibly add a new movie for 2019 with a Batman standalone movie.

Latino Review has it that possibly a new Batman movie could be coming in 2019 with the working title of "The Batman" starring Ben Affleck.

Back in June of 2012 we were told WB was planning a Batman movie with the same title that was to follow Justice League.

Admittely, back then we were told different information in that the new Batman would be a younger actor with the movie related to Arkham Asylum.

We're guessing that was one of WB's ideas, possibly if Ben Affleck didn't work out.

Regarding Ben Affleck, we were also previously told Affleck signed a huge multi-picture deal - possibly meaning Affleck will have roles in all the DC movies.

That info hasn't been corroborated yet, but WB did recently state they are going in a different direction than Marvel. Perhaps DC's movie universe will be more unified.
