Body

It's been rumored that we might see all of the Nine Worlds in Thor 2, "The Dark World," and now we get word that the movie will be filming in Iceland, perhaps for scenes for Niffleheim.

Director Alan Taylor will be taking Thor 2 to Iceland after shooting wraps in England. Currently, Taylor has been filming a major battle sequence in Bourne Wood, England.

The Icelandic site Svarthofdi.is (Via Latino Review) let the news be known and makes note that Alan Taylor was recently there to film Game of Thrones as well.

"We feel amazing to travel to a world that looks like those we are trying to create. It gives us all inspiration," Taylor recently stated about filming Game of Thrones in Iceland (translated).

Thor 2: The Dark World hammers into theaters November 8th, 2013 directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin,  Idris Elba as Heimidall, Zachary Levi as Fandral and Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Christopher Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed, Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Kurse.
