SyFy Orders 90-minute pilot for Dominion; Based On Paul Bettany's Legion

661 Back in February of 2012, it was first reported that SyFy was developing a new series based on the 2010 Paul Bettany fallen angel movie, Legion.

Now SyFy has announced that they have ordered a 90-minute pilot for the new series, which is titled Dominion.

Deadline reports that the director/co-writer of the original movie, Scott Stewart, is directing the pilot, written by Sons Of Anarchy's Vaun Wilmott.

Dominion is described as: An epic supernatural action drama set 25 years in the future after a war between an army of angels and mankind has transformed the world. It follows the perilous journey of a rebellious young soldier who discovers he’s the unlikely savior of humanity.

Stewart's Dominion joins a slate of recently announced shows on SyFy that are attached to popular creators and movies with The Dark Knight Trilogy and Man of Steel producer Chuck Roven's 12 Monkeys, Bryan Fuller's High Moon, and M. Night Shymalan's Proof.
