SyFy Adapting DC Comics DMZ For TV Series

Add one more DC Entertainment property to the list of TV series in development as it's being reported DMZ is being adapted by SyFy.

Deadline has it that the DMZ TV series is being put together by former Mad Men executive producers Andre and Maria Jacquemetton with Gravity producer David Heyman.

DMZ is the DC Comics Vertigo comic book from Brian Wood and Riccardo Burchielli that is described as being set in the near future centering on a young man trapped in Manhattan, which has been turned into a demilitarized zone (DMZ) after a second American civil war.

The report makes no mention of the Booster Gold TV series which has been said to be in development a while back at SyFy as well.

DMZ joins The Flash, iZombie, Hourman, Constantine and Gotham as being in development with Arrow in its second season.
