Superman Man of Steel Gets A PG-13 Rating

Body

Really no surprise, but the MPAA has declared that Zack Snyder's new Superman Man of Steel movie has a PG-13 rating.

They cite, "for intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destuction, and for some language."

Now that sounds pretty good.

We know that something "big" seems to happen on Krypton, with it thought perhaps a Kryptonian Civil War.

And we know from the trailer below that there's lots of action and destruction.

Man of Steel flies into theaters June 14th, 2013 in IMAX 3D, directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as Superman, Michael Shannon as Zod, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Kevin Coster as Jonathan "Pa" Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha "Ma" Kent, Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy, Harry Lennix as General Swanwick, Antje Traue as Faora and Aylet Zurer as Lara Lor-Van.
