Superman Man of Steel 2013: Amy Adams Talks Henry Cavill & Lois Lane
Amy Adams attended the recent Toronto Film Festival promoting her upcoming movie, The Master, and the actress also spoke about Henry Cavill and Lois Lane in the new Superman movie, the Man of Steel.
The Collider asked Amy Adams if her take was going to follow previous Lois Lane depictions with either some humor or a more competitive role to Clark Kent, as some of the recent television and movies have shown. Adams begins to explain her interpretation of Lois Lane, but seems to catch herself, and offers only small bits and pieces.
No, I think she is a little more--we will have to see. I don’t know. I mean, she is definitely a pistol still and she definitely gets herself in a lot of trouble still. But she is not as competitive, I would say, with Clark.
Amy Adams also mentions what her fellow Man of Steel actor, Michael Shannon, recently said — that Henry Cavill is really committed to the role and a hard worker.
It was great. It was really good. Henry [Cavill] – I hope you guys love him as Superman – worked so hard. He is just yummy and really committed to the role. He really did a good job. I haven’t seen the final cut and I have only seen a couple of the teasers. So I am with you guys. I know it because I was there but there was so much that I wasn’t involved in that I can’t wait to see.
Man Of Steel flies into theaters June 14th, 2013 directed by Zack Snyder starring, Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Diane Lane as Martha "Ma" Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonat han "Pa" Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as Zod, and Russel Crowe as Jor-El.
