We finally get some news on Disney's Star Wars plans from a chief financial officer at a recent investor's meeting.

For sometime it's been rumored that the Disney Star Wars spinoff movies will feature the early adventures of existing characters with Han Solo, Boba Fett and Yoda previously mentioned.

Now Jay Rasulo, Disney's Chief Financial Officer, says that's the case, the spinoff Star Wars movies will be origin stories.

Variety has it that Rasulo noted one Star Wars trilogy film or origin story film will appear on the schedule each year starting with Episode VII in 2015.

Simon Kinberg and Lawrence Kasdan have been confirmed to be developing the spinoff films with the first Star Wars standalone looking to have a 2016 release.

Besides the rumored characters of Han Solo, Boba Fett and Yoda, which characters would you like to see get their own Star Wars spinoff? How about one for The Emperor?

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams.
