Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic Movie Not True Apparently

Body

5823 A couple days ago, a rumor hit the net that the writer of the popular Mass Effect video games, Drew Karpyshyn, penned a script for a possible Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic movie.

However, it turns out not to be the case as Karpyshyn has taken to his Twitter account to squash the rumors.

this would be awesome, but I haven't heard anything about a #KOTOR movie. But I'm not at #biowareanymore so...

this would also be awesome, but nothing in the works that I'm aware of. #StarWars #rumors

I hate to be the killer of dreams. Guess I gotta call #JJAbrams and make this happen! Uh... anyone have his number? Anyone?

The rumor had it that Drew Karpyshyn had left BioWare in February to pen a script, with the rumor perhaps coming from BioWare as well.

As of right now all we know is that Star Wars Episode VII has a 2015 release date directed by J.J. Abrams with Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in talks to return.
