Star Wars To Follow Similar Route of The Avengers

Body

4313 We know that Disney has signed Michael Arndt to script Star Wars Episode VII, with Empire Strikes Back writer, Lawrence Kasdan, and Sherlock Holmes’ Simon Kinberg on board in some capacity as well.

We get a few more details about Kasdan and Kinberg from THR in that they might not necessarily be writing Episodes VIII and IX, but spinoffs, and that they will be separate projects.

In addition, it's said that Disney seems to be going The Avengers route in that there will be Star Wars movies every two to three years with the spinoffs filling the gaps.

It's also noted that Kasdan and Kinberg's scripts could be made into Star Wars movies that focus on the Skywalker storyline or could be the basis for one of the spinoffs, as mentioned.
