Star Wars: Episode VII Begins Production Early 2014 Says Abrams
J.J. Abrams let the news be known that he would be moving to London at the end of this year to begin production on Star Wars Episode VII.
"Most likely we are going to be moving to London at the end of the year for the Star Wars movie," Abrams is quoted as saying by Deadline at the recent Produced By Conference held earlier tonight.
It's also reported that the decision by Disney to film in London was made prior to J.J. Abrams coming on board Star Wars, as the director stated the overseas shoot "drives me insane," and that he wanted to film in L.A.
When asked about details for Star Wars Episode VII, J.J. Abrams gave a "no comment," but offered, "I think that the thing is so big and so massive to so many people that the key to moving forward is honoring but not revering what went before."
