Star Wars Episode 7: Luke Skywalker in his 30s and 40s Says Biographer

With the announcement that Disney has purchased Lucasfilm and Star Wars came news that Star Wars Episode 7 will be released in 2015.

George Lucas has stated he is finished with the film treatments for Episodes 7, 8 and 9, and handed them over to Disney.

The story was also said to be original and something that we have never seen before, meaning not from the previous novels or comic books.

Now, we might get an inkling of what Star Wars Episode 7 may be about as back in the 80s a biographer got a peek at everything George Lucas wrote, the outlines from Episode 1-12.

"It was originally a 12-part saga,” Dale Pollock, writer of the unauthorized George Lucas biography, “Skywalking: The Life And Films Of George Lucas, told TheWrap. “The three most exciting stories were 7, 8 and 9. They had propulsive action, really interesting new worlds, new characters. I remember thinking, ‘I want to see these 3 movies.' "

Pollock goes on to state how the screenplays for the prequels were "dreadful," and offers that in regards for Episode 7, they will need an older Luke Skywalker as he is in his 30s or 40s.

Pollock did sign a confidentiality agreement so is apparently barred from saying more; however, he has since had a falling out with George Lucas, after interviewing the director over 80 times, but does state that Disney will be "absolutely" using the outlines.
