Star-Lord's Criminal Record Revealed In Guardians of the Galaxy Movie; Connects To 4-D Man
Marvel recently debuted the first Guardians of the Galaxy footage at the recent Comic-Con and D23 Expo giving fans a first look at Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
The footage revealed that apparently the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy have been picked up by the intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps.
In the clip, they are referred to as a bunch of "a-holes," as they call themselves the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Now we see that a rabid cosmic fan has gone and screen-grabbed the following image of Chris Pratt from the footage revealing Peter Quill's criminal record.
The image also reveals a small spoiler of sorts regarding Michael Rooker's character, Yondu. It was previously rumored that Yondu was to be a villain in the movie, with the character described as a space pirate. The image below seems to suggest that Star-Lord and Yondu could be friends.
We also see that Star-Lord has convictions (we're guessing "misunderstandings") for fraud, assault, drunkenness, and one count of a sex crime for illegally manipulating a Gramosian Duchess.
In the Marvel Comics, the Gramosians are from the planet Gramos, the same planet where the Thor and Avengers villain, Mercurio the 4-D Man, originates.
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer and Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Benicio Del Toro as The Collector, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Lee Pace as Ronan, Djimon Hounsu as Korath the Pursuer, with John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey and Glen Close as Nova Prime.
Also rumored for the movie are Ophelia Lovibond and Enzo Cilenti.
