Stan Lee and Marc Webb attended a Facebook chat for Amazing Spider-Man 2 with the two discussing the sequel as well as superheroes.

Regarding Amazing Spider-Man 2, Webb says the movie will be digging deeper into Peter's parents, which turned into a conversation with Stan Lee about why heroes are orphans.

This led Stan Lee to say that it's because writers are lazy and that's the reason he created back stories for all his characters. He always wondered what Superman was doing when he wasn't being super, which led to Iron Man having a mansion and Spider-Man an apartment.

Check it out below.

The "Amazing Spider-Man 2" swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Shailene Woodley.
