Spider-Man 2099 Returns In Superior Spider-Man! No Trick Says Dan Slott

Body

4970 There have been interesting responses to Dan Slott's Superior Spider-Man (spoilers) around the net with Doc Ock taking over the body of Peter Parker.

On one hand some fans are so upset that they have sworn off Superior Spidey all together.

Then on the other, such as with our own Chris "DOC" Bushley, he didn't exactly agree with what transpired in today's issue of Superior Spider-Man #1. Basically, Chris' argument is, if you are going to do it -- do it! Don't do it half a--ed.

I can definitely see where he's coming from.

Though the new arc is, indeed, controversial, perhaps one good thing to come out of it all is the return of Spider-Man 2099!

If you remember, Dan Slott let loose a tweet that was seemingly by mistake that revealed Superior Spider-Man to be Miguel O'Hara.

Obviously, we know now that was an attempt by Dan to throw us all off, but that's not the end of it.

In a video with MTV, Dan Slott now offers that Spider-man 2099 will return in the pages of Superior Spider-Man, that it's "not a trick" and "not a prank."

"You will see Miguel O'Hara in Superior Spider-Man," Slott said.

Here's the video:
