Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky in Captain America: The First Avenger and goes on to play the Winter Soldier in the sequel, lets it be known he has signed on for a nine picture deal with Marvel Studios.

Speaking with Newsarama, Stan is questioned about the possibility of him one day portraying Captain America, as that's what happens in the comic books.

"I don’t know! [laughs] They don’t tell me anything. That’s just the truth," Stan responded when questioned about the potential to play Cap.

"Uh…I think…I think I actually have nine," Stan said when asked about how many movies he is signed on for with Marvel.

Interestingly enough, it's been made known that Chris Evans signed a six picture deal with Marvel and only has two movies left following The Avengers 2.

Following Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Sebastian Stan will have seven movies left on his contract.

It's possibly one of those movies may be Captain America 3 as Marvel Studios has already greenlit the movie which will see the return of Anthony and Joe Russo to direct. It's also rumored that Captain America 3 will go head-to-head on May 6, 2016 against Batman Vs. Superman. Could we be seeing the "Death of Captain America" storyline in Cap 3 adapted from the comic books?

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" hits April 4th.
