SDCC 2012: Quentin Tarantino Announces Django Unchained From DC Comics

The DC Comic Before Watchmen Panel just wrapped, but not without some excitement!

More so than usual, that is!

Quentin Tarantino showed up at the panel to let it be known that DC Comics will be publishing his Django Unchained comic book.

It was announced today at San Diego Comic Con that DC Entertainment will be publishing the comic book adaptation of Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film DJANGO UNCHAINED which is in theaters December 25.

DJANGO UNCHAINED tells the story of Django, a slave-turned-bounty hunter who, with the help of his mentor, sets out to rescue his wife from a ruthless Mississippi plantation owner.

DC Entertainment will begin publishing the 5 issue mini-series, same day digitally, this November.
