Now this is some darn good news!

At this week's San Diego Comic Con the Science Channel will be filming a Firefly reunion special, Browncoats Unite.

The cast of Joss Whedon's sci-fi Firefly series will already be in attendance at Comic-Con for a Firefly panel, and the Science Channel will be on hand to shoot a new one hour special chronicling the Firefly reunion, according to EW.

Browncoats Unite will not only include footage from Friday's Firefly Panel, but also footage from a special round table interview with the cast, said to "dive deeper into burning fan questions about the beloved series."

"Firefly is a landmark work of science fiction and a favorite with our viewers,” said Debbie Myers, general manager and executive vp of Science to EW.com. “Ever since it premiered on Science, fans have asked us to do something special to mark its 10-year anniversary. With this signature celebration, punctuated by Browncoats Unite, we will connect the minds behind this classic franchise with its legions of passionate fans.”

The Firefly panel includes creator Joss Whedon as well as Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, showrunner Tim Minear, and writer Jose Molina.

Browncoats Unite airs Sunday November 11th on the Science Channel.
