SDCC 2011: Henry Cavill talks Man of Steel (2013) Delay, and on Russel Crowe

Body

New Superman, Henry Cavill, didn't mention much regarding the Man Of Steel at the Immortals Panel held earlier, but did so in a post-panel interview with MTV.

When asked about the delay on the release date, on how he was he told and what was the reason, Cavill said, "Well, they broke it to me gently [laughs]. I was just told the other day and it's okay; it's nothing to do with me. That's just stuff I have no idea how to do. I just focus on the character and do my job. And leave it to them."

Cavill then stated he was really excited when asked by MTV if he was raring to go, and said it was "exciting, humbling and about time to get started."

Cavill then spoke on Russel Crowe, who is portraying Jor-El, and told an interesting story how Crowe was at his school 11 years earlier.
