SDCC 2011: Henry Cavill on 'Immortals' and Superman: Man Of Steel (2013)
Updated: 7:34pm Eastern
New Superman, Henry Cavill, was in attendance at the "Immortals" Panel at the SDCC and spoke on the upcoming movie and the Man of Steel.
Henry said his first Comic-Con has been great so far.
He said it was tricky to find just the right tone for a historic, epic hero like Theseus.
Cavill was a fan of mythology as a boy, but he did want to stick with Tarsem's vision more than classical references.
When asked about the hardest part of filming, Cavill stated the most difficult thing was staying in physical shape!
On the Man Of Steel:
Henry won't dig too deep into what's going on with the Superman project, other than he's thrilled to be a part of it.
"There's really nothing I can say apart from the fact that it's one of the best scripts I've ever read. I'm excited and humbled about it, and I can't wait to get started."
