Sandy Hook Featured In The Dark Knight Rises As Strike Zone 1

Seeing how we survived the Mayan Apocalypse, how about some more eerie and disturbing conspiracies to go along with it?

Previous to the release of the movie, Warner Bros. sent out a viral marketing package for The Dark Knight Rises to various entertainment news sites.

Among the contents was a map of Gotham City, with Bane's targets clearly marked.

And among the targets happens to be "Strike Zone 1" with Sandy Hook listed. In the movie, Gordon points his finger at the map at Sandy Hook as well.

Where does Sandy Hook come from? I think it originated in Frank Miller's "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns," a book which also featured - a movie theater shooting.

It's also pointed out that "Aurora" is featured in the Sky Fall preview that preceded The Dark Knight Rises, leading to speculation that the James Holmes Aurora Shooting is somehow connected. James Bond "OO7" (Double O 7) is said to mean "Two Ball Cane" aka "Tubal-Cain."

Conspiracy theorists also point out that Neo's passport in the Matrix expired on 9/11/01, another Warner Bros. movie.

Have you also heard the one about the Warner Bros. tower really being a "Spirit Bottle?"

The All-Seeing eye is also featured prominently in the map:
