Robin Williams Dead At Age 63
Robin Williams has died at the age of 63.
The cause of death is not known, but the coroner is suspecting "suicide due to asphyxia," which could be a result of hanging.
The Oscar-winning actor is said to have been found dead in his California home on Monday.
The investigation is ongoing with the autopsy schedule for Tuesday.
Both Robin Williams' wife and public relations team have confirmed the death to USA Today.
"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken," his wife, Susan Schneider, said in a statement.
Mara Buxbaum, president of the PR firm said: "Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."
Robin Williams is known for a plethora of roles and movies including Good Will Hunting, Jumanji, Popeye, Mork and Mindy, The Fisher King and many more.
Williams was recently featured on The Crazy One TV series and finished filming Night At The Museum 3 and Absolutely Anything.
