Robert Kirkman Writing Exorcism Comic Book; New TV Series In The Works

Body

5950 Looks like the creator of The Walking Dead will add another goulish tale to his belt as it's said Robert Kirkman is developing both a new exorcism comic book and TV show.

With the popularity as of late behind all the recent exorcism movies, this will be the first time the genre is adapted for a TV series.

THR has it that the script centers around "Kyle Barnes, who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a spiritual journey to find answers but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it."

Robert Kirkman is on the project as an executive producer.

"Sharon Tal Yguado and the entire team at Fox International Channels have been instrumental in making The Walking Dead the worldwide success that it has become. I couldn't resist the opportunity to continue working with this forward-thinking and extremely talented group," Kirkman said in a statement.

The exorcism show marks Kirkman's third adaptation, with the second being Thief of Thieves, currently in development.
