Rick Remender Tweets Captain Marvel Not A Skrull or Imaginary Story

Body

The cover to Secret Avengers #27 features a Captain Marvel.

Just who?

We are not sure, but the writer, Rick Remender, has tweeted that Cap isn't a Skrull or an imaginary story.

As Captain Marvel fans know, the previous three appearances of "Captain Marvel" were either a Skrull (Secret Invasion), a "dead" guy (Chaos War: Dead Avengers) or an alternate Universe version (The Thanos Imperative), so I suppose it's safe to say that a few of the fans are a little - suspect?

However, Remender did state "Mar-Vell," right?!

Sounds like good news if you ask me.

Guess we'll have to find out when the Avengers Vs. X-Men issue of Secret Avengers hits!

Here's that cover again:
