Wow! That pretty much sums up the second installment of Bendis’ and Maleev’s re-launch of Moon Knight. Just plain-WOW!

Marc Spector is back in action on the mean streets of Los Angeles. Someone has been smuggling in Ultron parts and he needs to get to the bottom the situation before it gets any worse. It’s a good thing he has back-up in the form of some of the toughest Avengers; Wolverine, Spider-Man and Captain America wait in the wings if assistance is needed — too bad they’re not really there! That’s right — Marc Spector is back and so are all of his multiple personalities!

This is the best (and most interesting!) Moon Knight tale I have ever read! The way Bendis incorporates Spector’s mental illness with the thrills of super heroics is awesome! Having him mimic not only the other heroes styles, but costumes and weaponry as well — was brilliant! But the best part, is the internal monolog in which Moon Knight “talks” to his other personalities. Having them trying to decide amongst themselves which persona will take center stage was a very intriguing set up for the book. It kept every page more exciting than the next! Plus, we finally get to see the return of Echo, a character that is used way too little in the Marvel U., a character that Bendis created and no one else seems to use!

This book is a tour de force, roller coaster ride of action and intrigue! Awesome battles, better concepts and the best writing Bendis is putting out right now! Strap yourself in for one hell of a ride, a ride only made more interesting by the fact no one knows who’s driving!
