This issue rocked!

Green Lantern Corps #59, part five of the "War of the Green Lanterns" continues from the events set up from GL #65. Now that Hal, Guy, John and Kyle are locked and loaded - it's go time! However, let us not forget the most powerful of Lanterns, Ganthet, as the little blue guy is a powerhouse all his own - even with only one hand -- and it shows!

Ganthet's attempts to connect to the Corpsmen under Krona's control while at the same time trying to preserve his own life, in addition to the newly acquired powers of the earth GL members - lead to a display of power that is a visual orgasm! With each issue, Tyler Kirkham is fast becoming an industry star!

As Ganthet battles his way in and out of the Corp, the "Crayola Calvary" are forced to contend with their newly found powers. Some are more used to them than the others, with this issue centering on the two "rookies" - John Stewart and Kyle Rayner (respectively so, as this is the Green Lantern Corps). As the two fumble around, leave it up to Ganthet to pick up the ball - and oh what a run he makes! In a nuclear explosion of green light, Ganthet may have decimated the corps single handedly (no pun intended!) - or has he? As the issue reaches it's conclusion, we are bear witness to the might of the Lantern's Light -- of Mogo!

Awesome!

Each issue of the "War of the Green Lanterns" reads as if it is all part of the same book, kudos to the creative teams behind giving us fans such a great read! I can't wait to see what happens next!
