Phantasm 5 Greenlit; Poster Revealed

Body

It looks as if Phantasm 5 is finally underway as a new teaser poster has found its way online.

Reportedly, Phantasm 5 - or "Phantasm: Ravager" - has been filming for possibly the past five or six years.

Aint It Cool News posted the following poster, stating it's 100% legit, which was followed by a confirmation from original Phantasm actress Kathy Lester on Facebook.

"NEWS FLASH!!! LE KAT aka Lady Lavender from Phantasm (in case you didn't know!) Appearing in a new Phantasm film!!! Coming soon BOOOOYYYYYYY!!!!!" she posted.

The last Phantasm film was put out in 1998 with Phantasm IV: Oblivion.

It also appears as if Angus Scrimm, aka The Tall Man, will be back for Phantasm 5 as he is pictured front and center on the poster.

The original Phantasm debuted in 1979 from Don Coscarelli introducing the Tall Man, his dwarf servants and an out of this world element that saw the Tall Man acting as a mortician collecting dead bodies to possibly take over the world using spheres (or balls) equipped with various weaponry to achieve his means.
